BROWN:
Brown is a natural, down-to-earth color. It is found in earth, wood, and stone. Its a warm neutral color that can stimulate the appetite. It is found extensively in nature in both living and non-living materials. It represents wholesomeness and earthiness, it also represents steadfastness, simplicity, friendliness, dependability, and health.
Often associated with Pinoys which is in the center of human racial strains. This point is not an attempt at racism, but just for many Filipinos to realize that our color should not be a source of or reason for inferiority complex. While we pine for a fair complexion, the white people are religiously tanning themselves, whenever they could, under the sun or some artificial light, just to approximate the Filipino complexion.
FUSION:
The act or procedure of liquefying or melting by the application of heat.
- The liquid or melted state induced by heat.
- The merging of different elements into a union: the fusion of copper and zinc to form brass; the difficult fusion of conflicting political factions.
- A union resulting from fusing: A fusion of religion and politics emerged.
- Physics A nuclear reaction in which nuclei combine to form more massive nuclei with the simultaneous release of energy.
- Music that blends jazz elements and the heavy repetitive rhythms of rock. Also called jazz-fusion, jazz-rock.
- A style of cooking that combines ingredients and techniques from very different cultures or countries.
BrownFusion:
BROWNFUSION
An Engineer, Multimedia Artist, HR Admin, Sales coordinator and a Nurse, brought up together by one common interest… their “passion for music”. They are BrownFusion. A Dubai based Pinoy Alternative, Rock / Reggae band under Pinoy Indie music group of The Black Sheep Production. Composed of 5 professional individuals and yet continues to explore their deepest desire for talent out-bursts, innovative sound and creative original compositions. Driven by positive insights, lighter-side-of-life type of musicality and bloated by harmonious thoughts of love, hope and encouragement they express their crafts with pump-beat, rock-groove, reggae-jam sound. Shaped by different genres, banded together to create a musical fusion showing how Filipino talents bond into one sound, one rhythm, one creative nation.

the late 60's. I am quite fascinated experimenting with the guitar sound up-to the extent of dismantling my guitars and try to re-wire the
circuits just to create a new & unique sound (boys & girls, please do not try this at home). after years of practice (guitar abuse)
and a whole lot of luck, i finally came up with guitars with distinct sound, versatile & defective (yan kc! if it works! don't fix it!). The
shreddin' axe is a new experience for me, and I still have a long way to go in becoming a better guitarist, who cares, my music comes from
the heart and I intend to do that for the remaining years of my life...

BROWNFUSION's HISTORY: Pilot
VOX: ALVER PACIS

The band started November 2007 when Daniel (bass) & John (Guitars) participated in an online song/talent competition in UAE. When their entry made it to top 10, they needed new members replacing CNG (their previous band with colleagues) who’s 2 members gone out of Dubai for good. Daniel met Reigel (drums) in a local music/talent website forum and they jammed the entry song with John for sometime. Joey (rhythm guitar) is also one of Daniel's online rockin' forum buddies, tried to jam with Dan on lead vocals but they need the right frontman for the job, until Joey introduced Arnel (vocals) a free-will-rocker friend to sing with them. They managed to blend well in harmony although the song did not made it to the finals, they still continued making music while having fun, while working in the Middle East. Their first performance was February of 2008 in “SOCO: Sing On the Crowd Operatives” gig, Zabeel park, Dubai, UAE. Showcasing 3 of their first all original compositions. With Bulletdays production and other talented pinoy underground bands in Dubai. Followed by several events/gigs with BlackSheep production’s “Strong south” Indie gig series in Dhow Palace Hotel, Bur Dubai. Packed together with growing numbers of independent, original pinoy music groups. After sometime in late 2008, Arnel florez (vocals) left the band for some good personal reasons and took some time in November when Jay Narvaez came to replace in frontline. Did a couple of gigs until it was John’s turn to say goodbye and went back to our home country, and right away Alver Pacis took over the axe shredding tasks. Then with some more gigs, Joey unfortunately left the group for his career in AbuDhabi, then Lester took his place on 2nd shredder. After several gigs, jammings and even competition Jay decided to form his group and waved goodbye to BF, then Alver stepped-up in front line, with his powerful yet dynamic voice to lead Brownfusion to another level. Jerico (Lester's Former band member) became the new cool-bluessy lead shredder of the group.
BrownFusion still pump-beatin’ music with other Pinoy indie bands in Dubai showcasing their original musical talent, with a new sound of cool alternative, rock/reggae music. Looking forward for more blood-rush-jammin’ events to come. - - - - Coming soon: brownfusion.dawntigre.com - - -
